I've never loved her more than I do right now

I will never buy Vizio again.  Bought one a couple of years ago, and it crapped out on me after a month or so.  That part wasn't a big deal, it happens sometimes.  But their warranty service is horrible.  Had to use one of their authorized electronics repair shops, and it took a while to get someone out.  Then it took a week of them taking it back to the shop and testing before they agreed it was fried.  Couldn't fix it, so they agree to refund me.  Took two more months to get the refund check.  Horrible service all around.  And the repairman said he had more calls on Vizio's than all other brands combined.  Of course, that could be due to selling more of them because of the cheap prices.  But after that, I bought Samsung and haven't been disappointed.

Mitsubishi hasn't sold LCD TVs in the US for 4 years and they killed the DLP line in 2012. No idea what you're talking about.

I was wondering about that. My girlfriend and I were in the market for a 60" to give as a gift this Christmas and I did a ton of research and never even came across Mitsubishi. Ended up going with a Samsung.

I would never buy again Mitsubishi anyway. We have a Mitsubishi 73" DLP that had issues and one quick Google searched revealed pages and pages of people (750+) with the same issues that Mitsubishi refused to correct even though it was an obvious problem with all their TV's. Bulbs burn out constantly and white dots cover the screen every couple of years and you have to replace their faulty DLP chips. Their TV's are about as good as their cars and that's not saying much. Just my opinion.

Based on this thread I decided to push for a new 60.

So I tell the wife that I really want a new TV.  That we have had our primary set for several years and it was time to step up to a new bigger set.  I mentioned that the 47" we are currently watching in the den would get moved up to the keeping room where she watches most of her daytime TV on a 30" set.

She not only said okay...

She was like "Why dont we get a 70"?"

Ordered my new 70" LG today to arrive in time for the SB.

fug Yeah!
