Your thoughts on the NFC outcome ?

A. I hope Rivera took more notes on conservatism and how to lose a game where you are dominating.

B. The Patriots are going to blow out the Seahawks. You heard it here first. Feel free to bump and stab if im wrong. Its in Arizona, no weather to be a factor, Sherman and Thomas in the hurt locker. Brady wont avoid them like Rodgers did.

C. The Seahawks are screwed after this. They have too many great players to pay big.

D. Panthers will be in the NFC Championship next year.

The Hawks coaching staff tailors their game plans to their team's strengths and the opposing team's weaknesses. I've seen no evidence the Panthers coaching staff knows how to do that. Hopefully that changes.

Excellent point......the primary philosophy of Sun Tzu's Art of War........and still the best way to leverage a game to your chances for victory.

Honestly, open your eyes then. Everyone wants to talk crap about our staff but they pushed through a lot of adversity this past season and the coaching staff did work with what they had. If they didn't we would have never made it as far as we did. Our problem is talent and Special Team.

Rivera and his staff did an awesome job rallying the players and keeping them focused and motivated for a late season push. That being said, even last year when we had more talent, there were often times when it seemed like the other team's defense knew exactly what we were going to do on offense every single play. The most glaring example being the 49ers playoff game. I didn't say our coaching staff hasn't ever done anything positive, they just have a subpar gameplan most of the time and make little to no in-game adjustments. Or adjustments that work, I should say.

The excellent ability of Bill Belichick and the Patriots to game plan each week to their team and the other teams strengh and weakness, has a lot to do with their success every year.

A lot of  attention is often given to the skillset of players who win games, when the credit should often go to the planning and preparation by the winning team's coaching staff..

Did you listen to what Roddy White and Co. said after we shellacked them at home?

But you said you had seen no evidence of that.

Fair enough, good sir. I should have said I've seen no evidence that they can do it at a championship level. I think Rivera is a pretty good coach but he consistently repeats the same in game mistakes and it's frustrating. Also, I don't know if he has the willingness to fire those he's close to in order to assemble the best coaching staff possible. The other possibility is that he thinks he has the best coaching staff possible and, if that's the case, it's concerning.

Im not sure what you saw in last years playoff game except a team that was allowed to commit major penalties and not get punished for it. The first QT of that game we controlled it on both side of the ball till the refs took over. Has Rivera and Shula been outcoach? Sure but it happens and its apart of the game but that does not mean they dont call good games as well. TBH our biggest problem is talent and thats just going to take time because of how poor of a GM we had.

What I really saw was predictable and bland play calling
