If Cam threw 4 interceptions in a game...

This is why we are a losing franchise.

We are arguing which qb is getting the proper football street cred. Trophies don't mean anything to some here. Perception and is the national media giving someone proper credit or blame.

Unbelievable.

To paraphrase the great poet Allen Iverson. Perception?

We ain't talking about wins. We talkin bout perception.

I don't care if Cam gets another commercial or if Skip Bayless thinks he is any good.

Just friggin win. That's all that matters.

Every Franchise MB does this comparing and Contrasting QB'S. . So don't act like this is a isolated situation. .

Who are Seattles weapons again? I would take our Benjamin and Olsen and our line over theirs every day. In reality, GB allowed Seattle to have 4 turnovers and still win. RW made a couple plays at the end, and other than Lynch it had nothing to do with superior talent. GB played that game as conservative as possible where they usually attack defenses. It was pathetic and Pete Carrol owns McCarthy like the Yanks owned Pedro.

This is a moot point, offenses do not play each other.  The difference was our offensive talent vs their defensive talent, which in our situation equaled bringing a plastic knife to a gun fight.  Not so much man to man, but a superior talent defense v weak talent offense was the difference.  Man to man, Seattle outclassed us.

An all time great all pro defensive backfield of Chancellor, Sherman, and Thomas and we show up with Bersin and Brown (along with Olsen and KB).  The talent discrepancy wouldn't be overcome with any all time great QB playing in place of Cam, even if we had Belichick and Brady and put in any great OC (which we don't have).  We had to play the perfect game.

Wilson obviously doesn't (far from it, most gift wrapped QB position in history) and until we have more talent, we aren't defeating the LOB.  Luckily for us, that time is coming soon.

OP didn't say it had to be vs Seattle, he said we couldn't overcome 4 TOs by the QB and most teams can't unless the other team underperformed even more, just like GB did. Seattle's defense is once in a decade defense, so to expect our team to reach that level is pretty unrealistic. Truth is, Cam hasn't shown the ability yet to overcome his own bad play in a single game, it tends to snowball. Had GB attacked Seattle even like we did, they would have blown them out and this thread would have never been dreamt.

Sure, except that is very shortsighted.  You are treating Wilson overcoming 4 ints as if the defense didn't provide him with the opportunity to make the play.  Point is, we have yet to field a team that has given Cam that opportunity.  It doesn't mean that he can't, and it definitely doesn't mean that Wilson did anything special.  Please stop taking the ability of Cam to do something away that he hasn't been provided the opportunity to do, and please stop giving Wilson credit for something he had nothing to do with.

Defense, Lynch, and special teams got them back into the game.  There hasn't been a game since Cam has been here where he could make so many mistakes and be spoon fed a comeback, by defensive stops, special teams tds, and an onside recovery.

How in the world Wilson gets credit for this escapes me, the objective knowledge of "fans" is very lacking when after watching that they can heap praise on Wilson.
