If Cam threw 4 interceptions in a game...

Dropped passes and the defense lay that game. Cam had a decent game.

Dude, it was Cam's job to catch those 3rd down conversions his receivers dropped.

It was also his job to rush the passer and contain Russell Wilson.

And to defend the Seattle WRs who caught the parabolic lobs of Russell Wilson for TDs.

ALL CAM'S FAULT.

This loss is on the Packers. They screwed it up. Stupid special teams play and the offense too conservative when it matter. Same with Capers defense. I swear I don't understand why they have not moved away from him by now.

It's just as well. NE would have torn Green Bays ass up in the Super Bowl

Living in Raleigh I've gotten pretty sick of the Wilson worship. Then there is Brady. Might be a good Super Bowl to go to the movies.

It is easy to lock up the run if you do not have to worry about the pass. Wilson is smart, accurate, great awareness in the pocket, in addition to being able to cripple you with his legs. Pick your poison.

And please dont try to tell me Kearse and Baldwin are good WRs.

the seahawks run a west coast system and having dumb wideouts would hurt much more than not having freak athletes or outrageous vertical speed

is it really that insane to say that seattle wouldn't be nearly as good if the entire offense ran through wilson and they didn't have lynch or that defense?

Ding ding ding! !

Yup.

The Panthers have never had an established run game since Newton's been here to have that crutch. Not at all.

And many games (even recently under Shula), the Panthers will come out throwing with Newton reading defenses in the pocket if they see an opening, until they get a big enough lead, then try to run it more.

Everything with Seattle and Wilson, is based off fakes, motion, timing patters, play action, etc., cause he can't read defenses past the first or second read.

Of course, most people ignore this, cause he wins, no matter how bad he plays or how poor he is at reading defenses.

I knew he was going to play awful today (and even predicted it), cause I knew the Panthers gave him too much respect.

And considering how bad Aaron Rogers played, I guess we can say Newton didn't do so bad in Seattle either, after all?

Prayers are nice,  but they have to be answered by someone.   His WRs can be considered "no names",  but I'll be damned if they don't play hard and give it their all.   I would give someone else's left arm,  for any of our WRs to be clutch when they are needed the most.   I think we've had two of those moments over the last few years from our WRs.

The Hixon clutch catch against the Saints,  at BoA,  in '13, to win the game   and the Ginn catch against the Pats,  to basically end that game.

Haha Parabolic is the exact way I would describe these passes.

Credit where it is due.

But there is absolutely ZERO way a receiver should have caught that 2pt Conv. this week, or his TD pass over Tre Boston last week.

Oh well we're at home now. Sucks

And yet he got picked off 4 times (on just 29 passes). When Cam did that once he was "inaccurate" and "not smart."

No need to be too hard on Wilson, he can read defenses a little bit.

Just a little bit. He's not asked to read defenses in Seattle's system the way Cam always is.

It's not even close. But despite this, many wayward Panther fans criticize Newton for at least learning to play the position, while Wilson takes short cuts in his offense.
