Biyombo: +5 (+/-)

Hibbert: -10 (+/-)

Why the hell doesn't Clifford ever play Biyombo & Jefferson together? You're talking about the most skilled offensive C & the best rim protecting C in the entire NBA.

It will be interesting to see if we bring Biz back next season.

We could make a qualifying offer or use that $5,000,000 to perhaps sign a free agent that could help us more.

If we let Biz, Neal, Pargo, and Maxiell walk we would have 10 mill plus coming off the books

You can get a pretty good player at 10 mill

Because both of those guys have to play at the rim. And biz is so useless offensively it would be a train wreck.

The best PF to play next to a guy like Al would be someone who can protect the rim and stretch the floor. That's why Cho picked Zeller and why he picked Vonleh. He is looking for this player. Unfortunately we couldn't bring McBob back because he fit the bill.

Flip side of that is Biz is still developing and is only 22 years old I believe. Do you give up on him already and move on.

What happens with Biz will be the most interesting issue of the offseason IMO

Biz was the #1 rated rim protector in the NBA last season at age 21. If Charlotte lets him go a team like San Antonio would sign him before he walks out of TWCA.

Honestly, I let Al walk, try to lock Biz up for cheap, and focus on upgrading the scoring on the wings.

Biz has been a huge part of the turnaround, the problem is he looks so awkward and makes so many poor decisions offensively it's difficult to see the positive difference he's making. He's like the opposite of Al, who looks good offensively but lack of defense hinders the win total.

I think it would be best for both parties to sign Biz to a 1 year contract

If u are going to do that just give him the qualifying offer which is just over 5 mill

Or if he refuses he becomes a restricted free agent and you could match if someone tried to scoop him

I believe that is how that works.

But would u rather do that or use that 5 mill along with other expiring contracts to upgrade the roster?

Big Al has a player option and I would be superised if he didn't opt in

BTW I was just throwing that out there. I don't really have an opinion on it. I think I would offer him a qualifying contract, because the next year you potentially have Al, Lance, and Biz all coming off the books which would give us @ 30 mill in expiring contracts
