Any thoughts on Jamison Crowder from Duke?

Played HS football at Monroe, college at Duke, NFL with the Panthers?

 

Great role model, super intelligent, great hands, good blocker, great return guy with a good second gear. Only knock on him is his size, he's only 5'9 and that could be especially bad being paired with Cam.

 

Anybody else like me want to see us use a late-round pick on him though? He feels like a 5th round guy. He has the potential to be Steve Smith without the locker room cancer presence.

He's worth taking in the fifth. The guy is a great returner and catches everything.

He's been the second biggest reason for dukes recent success. The first obviously being the head coach.

Crowder, Devon Smith from Ohio State, and Justin Hardy from ECU looked good in practice today. Crowder got good separation mid-field, Devon showed off some deep speed, and Justin was attacking the ball around a defender. Just my impressions.

Crowder is a player. I could see him having success in this league.

If peyton manning doesn't retire? Denver will snag him up before the 5th round. But yes, I believe he has a career in the NFL. And I would not mind seeing him return kicks in a Panther jersey.

I don't give a Shula that he's local. The kid can easily come in and at least start on special teams from day 1.
