Bucs have the 1st and 33rd pick.

They could go something like Winston and DGB. Or they could go Mariota and Melvin Gordon. Either way they could be a great team very soon.

I think that it doesn't matter what other teams do as long as we upgrade our team to be able to compete with the top teams in the league. The teams that make me worried are those that dominate us every year. The pittsburghs, the green bays, the seattles that wear us out every year. If we can hang with them then our division doesn't scare me at all. But as long as the only games we can win are weak sisters in and out of our division we are not going to be able to duplicate our success of 2013.

I hope the Bucs do draft Winston, he has bust written all over him IMO.

I would much rather them take mariota. Think what you want about Winston he doesn't get rattled and actually rallies the team up with speeches. Ask KB. Plus he's a natural pocket passer.

TB - Drafts a QB who turns about to be good.

Atlanta - Gets a coach who pulls a Dallas with their defensive i.e. turns a defense that has no stars and is supposed to be historical bad into something respectable.

Saints - Payton and Brees re-capture their old home-field advantage. Heck they managed to win a superbowl by being really good in a dome. 

 

Don't see anything of those things happening, but that's what would scare me.

I'm the least worried about the Saints. Their window is closing fast, and I could not be happier. Can't stand Ryan and the Falcons, but if they plug some holes, they are an 8 and 8 team. Tampa has the opportunity to be vastly improved going forward. I believe they take Winston, and I have no doubt he will quickly become a franchise QB. If not for the off the field stuff, everyone would be saying the same things they said about Luck just a few years ago.

 

I honestly believe the Panthers will win the NFC South for the next two years. After that, the Bucs will be our closest competition for the division. Go Panthers!

bucs: get a stud QB and lovie pick up an aggressive minded OC and himself turn into an aggressive minded coach.

 

saints: a miraculous fixing of their cap, brees find the fountain of youth, them to live up to the hype they seem to generate yearly

 

falcons: a HC that actually wants to be there who isn't overrated from being in the right place at the right time (gase/quinn) and them to somehow pick up a stud future HoF TE, an OL that isn't broken, steal all the personnel from a top 5 defensive team, and matty ice hit puberty.

I think over time Tampa could be really good because of Lovie. However, their rebuilding process is going to be grueling. And like everyone else said, Atl would have been more scary had they gotten Rex or fox, we'll see what happens though

Atlanta will be back if they can fix both lines (although we said the same thing last offseason)

Last year the Falcons, Saints, and Bucs defenses were bottom 8 in the league in yards per game, yards per play, points per game, first downs allowed per game, and opponent third down percentage. In many of these categories the Falcons and Saints were 31st and 32nd. So I guess the only thing that would really concern me immediately would be massive free agent expenditure on defense by those teams. The Saints are totally cap screwed. Worse than we've ever been. The Bucs and Falcons have some room but it doesn't look like they can support a big acquisition or two and still hang on to core players that need to be resigned.
