Hornets Nets and OKC in three way trade talks

I don't understand the belief that Lamb and Jack is a bad get...

Lamb and Jack have smaller contracts than Lopez and Lamb is young with potential to grow into a better player. Furthermore, Lamb wasn't going to work with OKC. they are stacked at guard and have two of the most ball dominating players in the league. Give him a new environment and see what he can do.

That being said, I suspect that this won't be our only move because we still have Neal and PJ. I hope and believe PJ is our sg of the future, but we need to make some other moves for this to make sense... That would leave us with Kemba, Roberts, Hendo, Neal, PJ, Pargo, Taylor, Jack, and Lamb in the backcourt. More than one of those guys needs to move if this trade happens.

I'm just excited to move on from the mistake and it not cost us huge cap space or picks in the process... That being said, what I don't like about this trade is it signifies that the FO hasn't budged on their belief in Al being a core piece. Otherwise, they would keep Lopez and look to move AL before the deadline or let him walk after the season.

Pj is already better then Lamb and Jack is the nba version of Crotchety and Avant. .

Shooting in the NBA is like pitching in baseball: you can't ever have enough of it, and as averse as this wing lineup is to shooting anything beyond five feet from the basket we could always use more.

Again, in the Lance situation, we are fortunate if we get out of a deal with all our picks in tact since it's essentially just cutting our losses. Should the trade go through, we get some more young players and an upgrade at backup PG that we desperately need.

Lance just isn't good value right now. The player we saw in Indiana is not the one that wound up in Charlotte and no amount of patience will change that.

Why hasn't Lamb been good on a team with KD and WestBrook. . All the open shots and what has he done exactly.. When are we going to play him.. Hendo, Mkg, Neal, PJ, Taylor, We already don't have enough minutes for them..

PJ has supplanted Neal for the time being only because Neal forgot how to basketball for whatever reason.

The expirings on the roster are Hendo with a player option, Neal, Pargo, and Taylor. Pargo is the team chemist and our assistant coach in training so he's not going anywhere. Not sure about Jack's status.

Regarding the bigs, Biz is also an expiring along with Al. With his 13.5 million cap for this year it's going to be a hard sell to any team to try to rent a slow low post scorer that can't play defense and may not be with them after the season is over.

Historically, this is when Cho is at his best, so I'm excited for the possibilities of this and other moves.

You can make more than one deal in the NBA, ya know. We aren't even close to the deadline yet.
