G-man mentioned Rivera's record in December as 'Mashugana' -- that got me thinking - "What is his actual record in December?" (which made me go WOW!) ...... then I thought "What does the rest of his record look like earlier in the season?"

I am actually proud/and a lil embarassed to say I crunched all the numbers and calculated our opponent's winning percentages, by month, and came up with this:

 

 

 

Ron in SEPTEMBER = 5-9  (.553 opponent win %)

 

Ron in OCTOBER = 5-10-1 (.520 opponent win %)

 

Ron in NOVEMBER = 7-7    (.528 opponent win %)

 

Ron in DECEMBER = 16-4  (.432 opponent win %)

It's the opposition's winning percentage i.e. does the strong December record have something to do with weaker opposition, which this indicates it does to a certain extent, but as with most NFL stats the sample size is too small to mean that much.
