Actually there's no reason not to take a look at him..

 

This kid has talent... and a father who happens to be one of the greatest of all time.

 

He runs crisp routes, seems to have good hands and is faster than Bersin...

 

And whats more impressive... if you watch his footage.... he's 6'4 and catches everything.  

 

Has the attitude of 89... and his number.

 

And if Gettleman sees him as a talent... then that means he's worth a shot.

 

Bring him on and let him on special teams... just like we did another 89... He's cheap and he wants to play more than anybody. There's no loss here.

Very.

Basically, GMs are going through the paces, and they would be remiss to overlook a guy who apparently has some decent tape, talent, and nice measurables. Interest should pretty much be self explanatory. Add in a football pedigree---albeit with diva-esque baggage---and the prospect becomes a little more intriguing, but also a target of trite, snarky remarks that add to the so-called "hype".

At the end of the day, G-man felt DC worthy of his time, so there must be something that attracted his eye. Nothing more, nothing less.
