I love the idea because I think there are teams that look at combine numbers and evaluate talent while leaning on those. We're not that team, so while the market gets driven down by poor performance numbers we may be able to snag players who have "functional football skills" as opposed to fast 40 times (See: Boston, Tre & Bene, Big Play).

thanks. i actually did miss this the first time around somehow.

seems like a great idea. players who don't get much hype, but who still have a lot to offer or who just want to get noticed get a chance to be seen by teams looking to find someone they might have otherwise missed out on.

the timing is good as well. no special trips have to be made by teams since they will all be represented there anyway.
