OT, WR, S: you choose 1 in FA and other 2 in Draft

Cobb in FA is all I care about. Whether we go Peat, Collins, Lael Collins, or another player in the draft they will be BPA.

But Cobb is the player we are missing. I hope we are able to entice him to play here. With the defense coming on at the end of the season I think we just need to keep that group together.

Boston played well IMO for a rookie. He missed some plays against the Seahawks but what safety in this league doesn't? They are the best team in the NFL so they're gonna make rookies look bad. He and Bene will get better.

Taylor mays is a huge athletic upgrade from roman harper....Harper can caoch him up on how to mentally play the position it would be a great collab...

The FA Tackle market isn't strong at all.  Bulaga if we can shake him from GB has played both LT and RT in the league.  Dunlap would be an improvement, but he isn't all that great to be honest.  Roos will most certainly retire.  With that said this is what I'll be watching most closely this offseason.

 

Ideally I would draft a Tackle or two early as well as sign one.  I like Cam Erving fsu(LT/C) and Collins lsu (T)

Must get Devin Funchess. He is a perfect fit for Cam Newton.

 

And draft an OT, OG, RB and speed receiver. McCourty can serve as a return man.

Read quite a bit on him last time he was a FA.  Seems he's more of a specialty type and we'd have little use for him here.

Roos/Dunlap in FA because rookies tend to suck on the line their first year. Would draft guy as project. 

 

Draft WR in round one and Safety/OT in round 2. 

 

I like it.  I'd add DE to the list of possibilities in the 2nd as well.

WR looks very deep once again this year.  The safety positions pretty thin and top heavy.

Outside of Landon Collins, nobody really jumps off the page at me in this rookie safety class.  In free agency, I would take Bryan Bulaga at OT, and draft Sammie Coates at WR.

FA OT - Derek Newton (Started every game for a solid Houston line and he's only 27)

 

R1 isn't a S or WR (He may not be a LT at first, but Cam Erving is what we wanted Chandler to be, a hybrid O-Lineman, I don't like valuing RT/Gs too high but we apparently were very interested in Bitonio last year and he turned out great for the Browns)

 

Draft - WR Ty Montgomery/Tony Lippett (Two of my favorite hands/go up and grab it types in the draft with size and speed)

 

Draft - S Kurtis Drummond

It is kind of a thin class but check out Clayton Geathers, Kurtis Drummond, and Jaquiski Tartt.  Those three I find pretty interesting rounds 2-4
