Legal Advice- Barking Dog, Apartments

Dexterity

place 2 laxative inside hotdog weanie and leave it near their door, the dog will eat it when taken for a walk.... Dog will be busy shitting guts out on carpet all night.

It's not the dog's fault his owner is a bad owner and didn't train him correctly.

Little dogs do seem prone to this nonsense.  Glad I have a German Shepherd.  I may piss my pants when she starts barking out of nowhere but it's usually for good reason lol.

You seem to know the answer.

It's odd that management will not do anything.

I would: [1] Look at the lease.  As one poster already noted, you DEFINITELY--100%--no questions asked have the right to quiet enjoyment.  You can withhold rent if the problem isn't corrected in a reasonable amount of time, and eventually break your lease if the problem still persists.  You have no ability to force management to kick the other tenant out;  [2] If management will not do anything [unlikely, as that's bad for business], then you can always go the authorities as you noted in your previous post.

Before you go to the authorities, though, try being friendly and catch the other tenant and explain the problem.  It could be they don't even know about it.  You would avoid a lot of legalities that way.
