'Coaching Carousel' passes the halfway point

Gase is one of those guys that's in kind of an unfortunate position.

Fair or not, people are always gonna ask "Well, how much is really him and how much is Peyton?"

So truthfully, it's kinda hard to say.

Found a pretty good read on Gase. Mike Martz talks about his scheming and how he works matchups. I would think those things are more game planned (OC) than on field execution (QB). Worth a read.

Del Rio is reported to want Marc Trestman as his OC.

Word also that the Niners hired Tomsula without ever actually interviewing him.  Apparently they just decided that they didn't want any of the guys they actually did interview.

Also being reported that Vic Fangio won't be retained as 49ers DC.  Wonder where he winds up (In Chicago with Fox, perhaps?)

So basically, Tomsula is firing his previous boss. Must feel good :sword:

Wouldn't his hiring mean they'd play that more frequently though?

Not every 5 minutes on the sports stations though. I must've heard 10 updates driving home all intro'd with that damn song.

The talking heads are happier than Ron Jeremy at a freshman mixer, the fans were split until someone from a sister station in Denver said that Fox was the one who suggested he wanted out for the Bears & Elway said "K".

Think Gase would fit here? Not asking if I think he'll land here, just could he do good things if he were here.

I like that he's young and that would give Cam some new blood (life/creativity). Other than that, don't know much about him.

Gase could end up as Fox or Del Rio's OC, there's also a chance he could rejoin old buddy Mike McCoy as well (not as OC, but in some type of asst position, like we did for Chud after CLE canned him as OC).
