Yet, he never paid it forward. Name one young WR that came in here that ever called SS a mentor or friend.

If KB starts the same poo next year when new wideouts come in here I will call him out on it too but there is no defending the fact that Smith is an ass with a Napoleon complex regarding his stature but not his penis because he is one of the biggest dicks I have ever met. Anyone who has gone to Wofford knows exactly what I am talking about and it went on for over 10 years. If you think he liked us, or even worse "you" as a fan, you are sorely mistaken. He made that very clear in the 95 degree plus temps, year after year.

I very much disagree. I've been to the same camps a few different times and Smitty was always very kind to me. Always gave me a high five.

well you do have to consider that this FO couldn't cut adolf hitler without a vocal minority on this forum talking about what a massive mistake it was.  especially since there's a clique here that believes our GM is too dumb to tie his own shoes.

I meant more of the younger guys, but i wouldn't say moose had big or good numbers once he left CAR......just off the top of my head i think he did better here in 2008 then he did with his career with the bears

SS is a fine football player, it's his attitude that makes him hard to deal with.

Smitty is the reason the Coaching staff couldn't develop Wide Receivers and DWill is the reason we couldn't run the ball until the line stabilized late in the season.

Remember you're on the huddle.

Disagree with what someone says, so take what they say, stretch it and make it sound as ridiculous as possible, then ridicule it. Real solid debate strategy there.

Now let's take a circle back to reality, I don't think anyone here said Smith was the ONLY reason no WR's developed, but to claim he had no negative impact on the process all these years.... I'm not sure if you are just turning a blind eye to all the negative things reported about Smith or what..
