So apparently someone actually does want the Falcons job

Dan Quinn wants Falcons head coaching job per source. Now, can Atlanta wait?

Quinn's not gonna be available for at least a week and maybe more.  Meanwhile, the Falcons are set for a second interview with Lions DC Teryl Austin on Thursday.

As an aside, this DC reporter's Twitter page is actually an interesting read.

Of course he does, he's getting antsy because all of the HC openings are quickly filling up.  And the way it's looking, Atlanta's may be the only one left by the weekend.  So, since it will probably be the only one left, he needs to let them know that he wants their job and pray they wait.

Like Gettleman said, you can't coach 6'5. I think this applies to talent as well. You can't coach the athletic ability of the entire Seattle defense; Atlanta does not have the playmakers like Seattle and can't hope to play with the same style of defense in Atlanta.

Makes sense.

That's gone through my mind too.

When you can go from one DC to another and not miss a beat, it makes you wonder how much is the DC and how much is the head coach and/or the players.
