The Shula hate is overblown.

Guess calling me a retard is okay huh.

I already said I understood your points a few posts back.

You're the one who got disrespectful.

You're derailing your own thread by insulting people who disagree with you. Blame yourself for this.

Way to go back and edit that post. You really got me there.

If you understood what I was saying you would have argued the points of my post. You went in a completely different direction. You should have just sticked to your last post and just said bye but clearly you need to get the last word in. So good luck with that.

Straw men on straw men.

Also show me how a blame shifted to cam?

And no my point was we got better players our offense got better it is "despite poor situations and personnel the whole season we still managed to improve overall."

Try to keep up and use valid arguments

You know what? When I read your post I thought I saw something to the effect of "Newton shifting out and making bad decisions" which isn't there. So, apologies on the "blame-shifting" part of my post. That was a straw man.

That being said, as you won't, I'll answer my question for you: No. He wouldn't get an interview with any other club for an OC opening unless Rivera was the coach looking. Because he's not good at his job. He was bad at Tampa. He was bad at Alabama. He is bad in Carolina. His offenses chew up clock, choke in the red zone and rely on every single bounce going your way and the defense playing out of their minds. If we can't get our RB's going, we won't win unless our QB piggybacks the run game.

None of this ultimately matters - he's ours for at least another season because either Cam or Ron are too emotionally fragile to deal with a short-term lack of continuity and we were kings of poo mountain this year so no staff changes.

let's re-frame the question;   If Shula was the OC on any other team below .500 would he be retained?

Probably...the only team to have a lower ranked QB than the Panthers (26th) and finish with a higher total offense ranking were the Eagles...and that stat is skewed because Mark Sanchez threw almost exactly many passes as Foles and finished with significantly better numbers than either Foles or Newton...

Yay! Are you gonna be here all offseason?
