The Shula hate is overblown.

I've stated in this thread multiple times the red zone needs to be improved upon. That isn't the argument.

I'm not even saying that Shula is the best or doesn't need any improvement.

I'm very reasonably stating given the talent level, circumstances, and injuries our offense performed relatively well and the hate that comes his way is overblown. That's it.

Im just telling you its not going to improve. He had the issue in Tampa, he has the issue here now in Carolina. You can make an excuse this year, but what about last year? 10 pts against San Fran in the playoffs forget the season, the game that matters most that season, 0-3 in redzone. Yall can fool yourselves into thinking the players and Shula are dependent on one another, when they're actually independent. Fix both.

Prove it by showing we were less effective in the third and fourth quarter and that we only won when we were perfect. Like how many games did we win or lose where Newton threw a pick or we fumbled the ball. Unless you are another poster who ignores facts and stats because it interfered with their already formed opinion. In that case nevermind because logic will be wasted on you.

Lol are you his son or something? I guess you didn't watch how Seattle could see the screen coming from a mile away or running straight up the middle against the Ravens Defense, I could go on but I'm not. I don't have to prove a thing, you want to stick with the guy be my guest but I'm not going to give a Season breakdown on something everybody else can clearly see with their own two eyes except you.

Also nowhere in my post did I mention that I was specifically talking about Cam making mistakes. QB's throw interceptions, RB fumble the ball, WR drop passes, etc. but if every single mistake can completely change the outcome of a game and how well an Offense performs then something is wrong. Good Offenses are able to recover when they screw up but once the Panthers start they don't ever seem to.

Again show us you are right with facts or you are just another hate monger with nothing to show for it. I guess you don't know that in criminal cases for example eye witness testimony has shown to be highly suspect and often wrong. What you see is what you expect to see based on your biases not what actually happened.

As for proving your perfect comment, take your pick, newtons stats, number of drops, whatever. But until you can actually prove you have a clue don't waste anyone times saying the same stupid crap without a shred of evidence to prove it.

Our offensive line was green, undertalented and paper thin to begin with and then ravaged by injuries...for a few games we had no legitimate running back...we lost two wide receivers who wound up being big contributors elsewhere....our top wide out was a rookie... and our QB, whatever your excuse for him might be, took a huge step backwards in his fundamentals and his performance...and yet, at the end of the day, we had respectable offensive numbers...

But Shula is the worst OC in the history of football...

Sorry, doesn't compute...

So the oline & the WRs aren't an excuse for Cam, but it is an excuse for Shula.... Sure you wanna go with that?

a third of our points came in 3 games and 14 of those points weren't even from offense.

I believe someone mentioned 10% of our points came in garbage time.

this is not a model of consistency or efficiency, which are what two of shula's selling points are supposed to be

I think its hilarious how when Cam fails it's because he has no help or it's Shula's fault... However did anyone ever stop to think that if we had better players the plays would actually be executed efficiently and work? Double standard Cam nuthuggers lol. #huddle

I think its hilarious how when Cam had a better OC, line, & someone who could stretch the field, we had a top 5 offense, & he was breaking records.

hate is completely warranted. shula is average at BEST and that is being generious. who the fug wants average? we want greatness, elite playcalling and creativity, elite adjustments. if that aint you then GTFO.

fugging ridiculous around here.

that is why we will never be a great organization with a mindset of accepting anything less than the best is ok.

i am gonna rage if shula is not fired.

Having not read past the first page, I'll say this.

I've been to 4 games in the past two years (Jets, Falcons, Saints last year. Steelers game this year).

Being in the stands and watching the receivers is one of my favorite things. I love being able to look from a bird's eye view in sec 548 at what Cam's options are on routes. Shula is notorious for calling routes 10+ yards deep on 3rd and short. Anybody who has been to a game in the past 2 years knows this. You can tell how deep the receivers routes are on TV by their release off the line. Anytime you don't see them cut within 5 yards, it's a deep route (that's basic football knowledge).

Part of this is keeping the backs and TE in to block, thus, not giving a safety valve to throw to, I'll admit. However...why not fuging run on 3rd and 2? 3rd and 3? Why does it happen so often? Shula doesn't know what he is doing situationally.

I'll give him benefit of the doubt with our receiving options being what they are. However, if we don't see improvement this coming year in situation playcalling and red zone offense....his ass needs to be gone fast.
