Lol, so you want to get out from under two historically bad contracts at the position and then dedicated another absurd amount to one player at the same position? A lot has changed in recent years... RB is the easiest position to fill in all of football now. Every year successful teams start undrafted or late round guys. Teams know this and they don't pay much for the position as a result. Combine that with the relatively short shelf life of rbs on average compared to all other positions, and it may literally be the worst position to invest in.
