yes I did.  But there so many duplicate threads in the forum its getting ridiculous.  No one is even looking to see if a thread has already been created on a particular subject any more, they just say fug it and create another one.

This. It's hard to know what threads have been created and not. I'm not gonna go open every "Guess what" or "Look at this" thread. Also, a search for "Greg Hardy" (for example) brings up about a billion posts. So I'm not sure how to tell if the topic I'm bringing up has been discussed or not besides highly impractical methods.

If it's breaking news I usually scroll through the first 2 or 3 pages on the forums to see if someone already covered it.
