Colin Cowherd actually praised Cam today

What a really, really odd time to praise Cam. I mean, by no means did Cam play bad on Sat but still really odd.

Most people thought Cam played well. Only people that dislike Cam anyway found fault with his play. Cowherd isnt a Cam hater.

   I think Cam Newton played pretty well against Seattle. He needs more weapons but he does have the tools. He’s tough as nails too. It’s hard to get quarterbacks in the NFL. Being a Bills fan I know this because we haven’t had one since Jim Kelly. I’d be happy if I was a Panthers fan. Cam is the right guy and can get you to the promise land. His team isn’t that great right now, but give him some weapons and he can be very good.

I think a lot of people who hadn't seen Cam play much were surprised that he can actually do more than "just run" based on the misleading narratives out there about him.
