Cedric Ogbuehi tears ACL

Texas A&M senior T Cedric Ogbuehi will have surgery soon to repair a torn ACL suffered in the school's bowl game, according to Rand Getlin.

 

 

SUCKS for him. get well, and healthy. probably slides to the 2nd or 3rd day now.value pick, stash on PUP list.

Texas A&M did help him buy an insurance policy, hopefully he gets to cash that in because, it happened in the bowl game.

With this injury, he is most likely to go undrafted.  A big guy with knee problems is never a good thing.  Hurst was worth a second round pick or higher until he broke his leg.  He went undrafted.  Antonio Richardson who was graded out as a first round talent entering his final year at Tennessee, went undrafted due to knee problems.  Cedric's stock was falling anyway if you ask me, but surely he will probably go undrafted.

Brandon Thomas tore his ACL in a workout and still went 3rd or 4th round. Ogbuehi last 2 games was played at LT and he had good games.

I would be willing to draft him if he's there in the 5th or 6th round. But only if we get a few extra picks in this years draft.

Even if he was healthy, I wouldn't touch him in the early rounds.  From the couple of games I saw him play (other than the first game against a pitiful SC team), he wasn't that impressive.  Seems like his stock is solely based off of potential, and not skill.  This tells me he is really raw.  Can't spend a high pick on him with our situation of course.
