Duron Carter visiting Wednesday

Kuech the Sneak

Hmmm, he hated school? Do you guys think that the NFL is not as intellectually challenging as a student-athlete in a general studies major? I would argue life as a professional NFL WR is MUCH more challenging mentally than the average college curriculum. If he didn't apply hisself to academics and learn something, what makes you all think he will flip the mental switch at this level and try and study and learn. All the physical talent in the world will not make up for lack of smarts.

Every player in the NFL is not scholars. You would like for everyone to be but the truth that matters is everyone is not. This guy can add a different dimension to our team. Give him a 1 yr prove it deal and see what Proehl can get out of him. What do we have to lose?

I could see that guy making a catch down the sideline against Richard Sherman. He looks talented and pretty skilled to me. The only question is are we flushing the money down the toilet if he doesn't want to practice and be a team guy. I'd throw 300k signing bonus at him if I felt good about those things. We spent 300k on that 4th string Quarterback with the noodle arm last year.

dude is bad news. Maybe he's got his act together now. His pops was a colossal moron that almost drank himself out of the league and he turned out alright. He's just one of those dudes that if I were a head coach, I'd have a very short leash with him. Entitled athletes can be a very bad problem to have. He's gonna have to go to a strong locker room - I dunno if the Panthers have that.
