You hate organizations like the Rams for what they are doing with LA, but you can support the big cat for blackmailing a city for more money for his stadium? And if they did not comply he was using relocation such as Los Angeles as leverage. Seems like a double standard to me.

There's never been any credible story about Richardson threatening to move the team.  Just the opposite, in fact.  He's put in measures to try and ensure the team stays where it is.

That is where you are wrong. There were multiple reports stating that, and were credible. I understsnd for some reason you in particular have a blind loyalty towards Jerry Richardson, but he has handled a lot of things miserably in the recent past. There is no debating that. The guy will get continue to get a free pass from a majority of you because he brought the team to Charlotte. I am fine with that, but just know that a lot of the stuff you spew is a fairytale.

Back in my wee childhood days (13 years ago, at the age of 13), I actually wrote the panthers organization for some reason or another. I received a team photo, cheerleaders photo, season in review book, and a bunch of other loot, as well as a signed letter from JR I believe (not 100% sure if it was him or somebody else). No autographed helmets, though! Haha.

 

I couldn't believe I received all that, but unfortunately the flood of 2011 (I live in Northeastern PA) destroyed it all . Truly a classy organization.

You can keep telling yourself all you want how Jerry is the bestest in the whole wide world, but again its a fairytale. I am sure you can find multiple reliable sources if you took the time to google it and didn't let your bias towards Jerry richardson get in the way of the truth. I will be more than happy to when I get out of work to take the 10 seconds to look it up and post the multiple links for you.

He'd say anything to get money for renovations. You think he'd actually come out and say "I'm gonna move this team"?

 

C'mon, man. So the plan is his family sells the team to someone who pinky promises they won't move it? Like when the Seattle Sonics were sold and Clay Bennett promised he wouldn't move them, provided he got a new facility, and that team soon became the Oklahoma City Thunder when he didn't get what he wanted?

 

Richardson-colored glasses don't fit the entire populace. Some of us on here are just considering every possibility. Others, clearly, not so much.
