Right now, I don't see how Seattle doesn't repeat.

So I went into Saturday with high hopes that my Panthers would give the Seahawks a run for their money. I wasn't too disappointed because I thought we at least did some things better than I thought we would. Alas, the mistakes caught up to us, and kudos to Seattle for a hell of a game.

That said, I believe the Super Bowl is Seattle's to lose. I haven't seen a better team in a long time. The Patriots might have come close a time or two in terms of coaching and coordination, but pair that with Seattle's positional talent level and they are a dominant team that, in the right situation, is damn near unbeatable.

I think the NFC Championship game will be a good one, but I expect the Seahawks to win with a dominant defense, and a heavy rushing/Russel Wilson showing. I think the Super Bowl, if Seattle does make it, will be another blowout.

I think the Patriots will beat the Colts, but I don't think either team will be able to do much against Seattle.

I'm pulling for the Seahawks to win it all now, because I feel like they are the best team in football. And because they took us out.

I don't normally pull for any team (except mine) to win back to back championships, but because I'm a long time Wilson fan, and they beat us, I have to hope the Hawks win it again.

Its going to be Colts VS Seahawks.

I don't see it. NE beat the Broncos and Colts this season back to back, both by 20+.

Seattle has a very good chance to win with that Defense.  GB is a good test because of how precise they are.  If they can overcome GB, then good luck AFC.  Outside of Seattle, we had the best D in the NFC, and we still got rocked (good lord, 3rd downs!!!!).

The Packers are going to have a rough time getting past that D and stopping Wilson.  Though you never know how JP is going to perform.

you lost respect for them because they beat our ass?

lol

I don't recall saying that, lol.

They were cocky as hell, doing way too much after the whistle, borderline dirty at times, and celebrating numerous times in the game they already won the fugging Superbowl again. Yeah they won lost year, congrats to them, I'd rather see another team win it all this year.

    • I don't get the Hunter hate. Just imagine his ceiling if he stopped trying to be this 2way freak and focused on one side of the ball
    • 100%.  You have to play the cards that are dealt.  Not the cards you wish were dealt.
    • I'd say its definitely going to be addressed this off-season.  We went into the last draft with a roster of RBs including:  Chubba, Blackshear, and Miles Sanders. We picked Jonathan Brooks in the second and still signed Rashaad Penny afterwards.  Fast forward....One turned into a top 10 back, 1 is injured/out for most if not all the '25 season, 1 retired, 1 will either take a huge paycut or be cut, and the last is a restricted free agent. We brought in Mike Boone as well. Add him to the free agent list also.  We need a physical option.    Which qualifies:  Ashton Jeanty(Boise St): Overall ranked Top 10. Almost 2k yards after contact, 28 tds. Would take our first rounder. My money would be on an NFC East team selecting him. (97.2 PFF run grade) - 121 forced missed tackles.  Omarion Hampton(UNC): Ranked everywhere from 20 - 59 overall. Consensus #2 back after Jeanty. He'll be a second rounder. 1,222 Yards after contact w/ 15 tds.  (90.5 PFF run grade) - 72 forced missed Tackles Kaleb Johnson(Iowa): Ranked from 38 - 69 depending on which media outlet you prefer but generally #3. 2nd/3rd possibly. 1,060 Yards after contact w/ 21 tds.(86.7 PFF run grade)- 66 forced missed tackles Cam Skattebo: Ranked from the 50's - 104. Every mock I do he ends up BPA at some point. 969 Yards after contact w/ 17 tds(92 PFF Run Grade). Probably the best receiving back of the group. 81 forced missed tackles.  If the '24 and '25 draft classes were combined, IMO the rankings would be, in order: Jeanty, Hampton, Brooks, Johnson, Skattebo. I wouldn't take one high but I'd take one for Chubba and Brooks insurance.
