A friend of mine that lives in Charlotte lives in his building and sees him regularly... says he's a genuinely nice guy.

 

Having said that, at MOST I'd want him as a backup only.

so is Cam, and I rather him not get killed every sunday because the only thing this guy can block is the sun light from hitting the field

I was on board with the thought of bringing him back for depth, but I've actually started to think more like this.  It took the cutting of Godfrey, Cason, and Avant (Also, IRing Chandler) to get him to put the right pieces in place.

The Panthers would be crazy to not bring him back if he wants to be back and is willing to sign cheaply.  He is definitely backup material, but to have a guy around $2M a year that knows our offense and could backup both the LT & RT positions?  That would be a no-brainer.  

 

Bell, regardless of the hate he gets, is an overacheiver as an UDFA.  He never should have put into a starting position, but that speaks more to management more than himself.  It truly isn't Bell's fault Otah was a turd and Gross retired.  

 

Bell is delirious if he thinks he thinks the Panthers should bring him back to be a starter, but fans are delirious if they think he doesn't have value to this team.
