Amazing that an aging quarterback who had back surgery has lost it. That's unheard of!

I agree, but Manning missed a lot of throws and looked like a shell of his former self.  His inability to push the ball down the field with any type of precision or accuracy was very evident.  The DC set out to stop all those dink and dunk staples of a Manning-led Broncos offense, and so the ghost of Manning stuck out like a sore thumb,

 

True, and I'm not trivializing Manning's poor performance today, but I look at how Denver went all in on D this season and never touched Luck.

Yeah, they were specifically built o get over the hump and failed miserably.  There's got to be some serious buyer's remorse.  It's a lesson really.  Just like ATL sold the farm to get a young stud in the draft to win immediately, Denver went all-in on overpaying for vets who had some question marks.  

 

Gettleman is doing the right thing in trying to build an organization gradually.  Patience and fiscal prudence lead to sustained success.

I don't consider this game a choke. He was that bad for most of the year. He squandered playoff runs in the middle of his career but he just doesn't have the arm talent at this point in his career. The guy came off neck surgery and preyed on the weak for a few years but he's just old and spent.

Manning has a better career postseason passer rating than Brady. Brady has been on more winning teams because his coaching and supporting case were/are much much much better. The notion that Peyton chokes in the playoffs is purely wrong.

Discounting Super Bowls are bullshit. Chicago won the games they needed to win to get to the Super Bowl via their defense, and Indy got past your buddy's team to get there.
