Catch or No Catch?

It didn't look to me like it actually hit the ground. Looks like it was in the crook of his arm but I never saw anything that showed it actually hit the ground.  Doesn't matter if it moves if it doesn't hit the ground per say imo.

It did hit the ground. The close up shot in the link shows it. That's what popped it up in the air. So the ruling was that he didn't maintain control for a completed pass.

Here's the rule:

 

"If a player goes to the ground in the act of catching a pass (with or without contact by an opponent), he must maintain control of the ball throughout the process of contacting the ground, whether in the field of play or the end zone. If he loses control of the ball, and the ball touches the ground before he regains control, the pass is incomplete. If he regains control prior to the ball touching the ground, the pass is complete."
