Personally, I would bring him back on a one year cheap deal if he beats these charges and is wiling to sign for peanuts.  I just doubt that either he or the Panthers would be willing to do so in that scenario.

That would nice, but if I was his agent, I wouldn't let him do it. Too much risk.

I'll say it: We should resign him EVEN IF he is found guilty (which he won't be). The man had to miss an entire season for chrissakes.

Honestly, if he is found not guilty shouldn't we receive some sort of compensation? I can only imagine how good this D would have been with arguably our 2nd best defensive player still playing.  Like, if he is found not guilty, we got royally fuged.

He is easily a game changer and would be no doubt the best on the line.

 

We got beat by a team with game changers. We have Luke TD and 95 who can dictate a game. 

What do we do when other guys step up to the point of a 5 sack game? Not pay them? Let them go too?
