The Divisional round continues, Cowboys at Packers

Nah, this one will be forgotten in a week or two because it was so clearly not a catch. Not even in the top 5 most controversial calls of the playoffs.

you know it will be debated for the next 100 years when we had a whole other thread started on the main forum here on just whether it was a catch or not:

you're the tard who didn't think it was a catch.

lol name calling over something that doesn't even involve the Panthers?  You're too emotionally invested in a losing argument.  It hasn't been a catch for a few years now.  It would have been good before the Megatron rule came into effect.  Not by today's rules though.  If understanding the current state of the rules of what is a catch and what isn't a catch makes me a tard, then there's lots of tards out there who agree with me because it's just Cowboy fans and uneducated fans (maybe a bit repetitive) who are arguing that was a catch.

Actually, as far as the NFL is concerned, there's no debate.

According to the rule (dubbed "The Calvin Johnson Rule" since it negated a Megatron touchdown a few years back) it was not a catch.  And both the current and previous head of NFL officiating have confirmed the rule was correctly applied.

You can debate whether or not the rules ought to be changed all you want, but as the current rules apply, it isn't a catch.

I don't know which is more comical, believing that was a catch or believing that a thread on carolinahuddle.com is an indicator something will be talked about for a century.

It was a catch. No debate.

Everyone who saw it knows it was a catch. End of story

Not relevant.

The only opinions that matter are the ones of guys who enforce the rules, and they say it isn't a catch.

Write a million posts if you want.  It won't change anything because your opinion on the topic doesn't matter.

You have no argument whatsoever.

I'm all in favor of the law, except when the law robs an American of doing a great job. It was a great catch. Write a million posts if you want, doesn't change the fact it was a great catch

Yeeeeahhh...This is about a rule, not a law.

And I'm pretty sure Bryant still has a job.

You're pretty much not making any sense here

Regardless, the game is over.  The play was ruled no catch.  No one's going to go back and change the result. So...
