Per Jay Glazer, John Fox may be let go if Broncos lose today

I always liked Fox and thought he got a raw deal but I didn't like that Veterans had the "play till death or injury playing clause"

Sadly, Rivera goes along with the same mantra. No reason to kid ourselves, only reason our rookies played is cause of injury not because they were actually better than who was ahead of them.

Which is the only reason Anderson is playing under Fox and what that rookie WR freak Latimer has...lets see what he can do once someone gets smart and cans fox...lol

If Atlanta got Fox, I would feel very confident of our chances of victory if we entered the locker room down three at halftime.

shoot i would be happy in the last 2 minutes of the 4th qtr, my only worry is he actually gets an offense that can score and we still might have rivera.../facepalm

Yes and no. Injuries on the oline forced Remmers (not a rookie) and Norwell into roles, sure. But Cason, Decoud, Godfrey and Avant were released and White was benched making starting roles for Philly, Benwikere, Boston, Norman (not a rookie) and Jones ( not a rookie)

just because he better than what we had, does not mean he is the best we can do. Actually, Capers was let go way too soon. Ole jerry promised a SB in 10 years and had no patience.

Fox in the playoffs

capers (with packers) in the playoffs

del rio in the playoffs, with fox

all former coaches for carolina, I would take capers or del rio over fox any day

Capers ruined the Texans right out the gate. Fox actually won at his second job.

The goal should always be to get better. But Coach Fox enjoyed the best stretch as a Panthers Head Coach. He was a better gameday coach than Ron Rivera.

I'm not saying he was a great coach. Just the best we ever had and it bothers me when people act like he was the reason the team never put it together. Hurney was a big part of it too.
