Fox has been to the second week of the playoffs four straight years currently.

 

with Manning controling the offense, even fox says he is like a coach on the field...he really only needs to foucus on defense. Elway put a good team together, fox sucks (as does rivera).

 

if fox gets canned...it is because he under performed,... again, with a super Bowl cailber team...

I think it's BS. Coach Fox finally has that defense playing well. The running game is working. The most disappointing part of their season has been Peyton Manning. Coach fox has made the playoffs every year since he left us. He made the playoffs with The Golden Calf of Bristol. 

 

If I had to guess, Peyton is pissed because coach Fox is demanding the team run the ball and not turn it over. He has a point, They lost the Super Bowl because of Peyton, not Fox.

 

They got to the SB because of Manning. When Mannibng first arrived, he had control over the offense. Fox only really needed to focus on defense. I do give credit to Fox on wanting a strong running game, even Stewart and Willaims are affective WHEN healthy.

 

We need to quit "finding" head coaches" and start paying for a real head coach.

fox also took 2 jake delhomme quarterbacked teams to nfc championship games. john fox also brought this team back to relevancy. but yes lets pretend he sucked as a coach. if john fox sucks as a coach then i can only imagine what your opinion of rivera is.

He's not a top tier coach and saying that he's the best in our history as some sort of endorsement is well.....something about being the tallest midget and whatnot.

He did come close. 2003 Super Bowl, 2005 NFCCG, 2004 Steve Smith goes down 5 minutes into the season and the Panthers miss the playoffs on a blocked field goal. 

 

He never got his back to back playoffs because key players would get hurt and we couldn't make it work. But it was close. It was always close. 7-9 was a bad season under fox. That was a culture change from Seifert and Capers.

 

just because he better than what we had, does not mean he is the best we can do. Actually, Capers was let go way too soon. Ole jerry promised a SB in 10 years and had no patience.
