This would be a big mistake on their part. John Fox is an excellent football coach and Denver would not find a better replacement.

Well you're right that decoud didn't get released but Turner was injured in preseason, and then re-aggravated the groin injury in the opener against the Bucs. He was the day one starter, not Velasco.

Fox should take a year off from coaching.  He's had some serious health issues and he just doesn't seem to be the caliber of coach he once was.  I know Manning is pretty old but still, your specialty is defense and the the Denver defense got pushed around by a mediocre Colts running game.  Not good at all.

Rivera and Fox's seasons ended at the same point and look at the rosters each had to work with.

Fox couldn't win with fuging Peyton fuging MANNING. He's horrible and refuses to change his ways. Denver fans will be in even more of a shock when Peyton is gone and they realize that Fox HATES drafting or developing QBs. He'd give up two first rounders for Derek Anderson....uh...matter of fact, get DG to give ol' Foxy a ring.

He's not a top tier coach and saying that he's the best in our history as some sort of endorsement is well.....something about being the tallest midget and whatnot.

Being the tallest midget out of 20 years for a professional NFL team, well its not so bad. Checkout any other teams in 20 year sections, plenty of awful to go around. Even form the start, fox is a above average coach in a league thats hard to win in. His time here passed, I view him as a exwife that I use to love......... channeling my mbennett.
