Smith has a mean streak to him but also a very gentle and caring side. Sherman is loud, annoying, arrogant and as far as I have seen shows no redeeming qualities as a human being - great football player though.

 

Sherman started his own charity to help underprivileged inner city youth.  He was a standout student at Stanford.  From what I have read, he is a decent guy off the field.

As Panther fans we also know Smitty a lot better than we do Sherman.  All most of us get from Sherman is what the national media gives us.  I bet most opposing fans looking from the outside felt the same way about Smitty.

I agree, they are tough to hate.  I find their players very likable and love the way they play.  I have also always liked Pete Carroll.  Now this morning I have been reading some of the things their fans have said on their board and I like them even more.

 

If it were not for the fact that I am such a big Aaron Rodgers fan I would be rooting for them to repeat no question, I still may.

He doesn't stand out bc he's shutting guys in coverage. QBs don't wanna test those guys out. And, when they do (Cam last night) that's what happen; pick 6.

Kam isn't known for his elite coverage, he's more of a run stopper and hard hitter. Newton starred down a receiver near the goal line which makes it easier for defenders to make up ground. Any competent NFL safety would have made that play.

I agree though. They are a likable team most of the time. I hate Earl Thomas though. Cant stand his face.

 

 

Yeah - not sure when people started to tie thug to being racist...far as I'm concerned that's society's problem and sensitive minorities. I see a person that looks like he would be happy in prison and I hear them in an interview and it sounds like they are in a gang.  

 

I don't see skin color in the definition....

Those Seattle colors literally make me sick to my stomach, even before I had such disdain for the team.

I hate how lucky the team seems to be, and how guys you never heard of out of nowhere always make such big plays like the TE Willson.

I guess I hate them because they are so damn good an have such an omnipresence on defense, it seems like they have an absurd amount of DTs and pass rushers galore to go with the legion of boom.

His only two options on that play were Bersin and Dickson. What fuging coach in that situation puts out the #4 WR as the number 1 option and backup TE as the number 2. Bersin got destroyed at the line for about the 6th time that game and the only place Cam could go was Dickson. I still will never understand why they kept taking Kelvin out of the game in the red zone.

      Lower floors than AR coming out, or lower floors than AR now?  Are you counting that he has proven to be a productive goal line back?  AR as a prospect had just about the lowest floor you can possibly have.  Probably the same as Milroe.  Dart's floor looks a lot closer to backup QB to me, but the issue is that his ceiling doesn't look too far from that either. It's crazy that teams are drafting scratch off lottery tickets at QB with 1st round picks.
