So what does Gettleman do with Cam?

We've some fans living in 2000...... believing Cam should only make around $10M a year.

Cutler making $18M a year.

Alex Smith making $17M a year.

Stafford making $18M a year.

Since coming into the NFL....  Cam's first two years,  the Panthers have alternated between a top 5 scoring offense and top 5 total offense.   His last two years, he has helped lead the Panthers to back to back division titles.   With limited tools around him.  He has averaged close to 4,300 yards and close to 29 TDs a season and averages around 13 interceptions a season.   He has been asked to basically be our entire offense.   But isn't given the proper Oline, weapons (Except for Olsen,  and this year - Benji).

We've some fans that won't be happy until we're the freakin' Browns or Jags..  going through a different qb every year..always searching for the extremely young qb that can instantly come in,  and carry an offense the front office doesn't care to upgrade.

We've got some fans living in lala land too...

Clearly the teams those three QBs are on aren't doing poo in this league and it might not be the best model to follow....since...ya know....it's not working.

http://heavy.com/sports/2015/01/tom-brady-salary-restructured-deal-contract-details-cap-number-hit-guaranteed-money-annual-average-career-earnings-cash-renegotiate-signing-bonus-nfl-highest-paid-player/

Did I read that wrong?

Oh yes I did. Freed up 15 million for 2 years cap space.

Tell me again how Tom Bradys new deal works. Im not the brightest bulb.

Quote from that article "And Brady’s restructure doesn’t lower the Patriots’ cap number. In fact, his cap numbers will go up a million each season – $14 million in 2015, $15 million in 2016 and $16 million in 2017."

I'm glad you admit your short comings and hopefully if you work diligently comprehension won't be just a pipe dream

Why so many on here laud Delhomme and Beuerlein but diss the idea of Cam being paid elite money astounds me.

I love how Scot made the nitpicking point that there was a Carolina before the 2-14 season. Yep, there sure was.

A Carolina team that had three division championships in 15 years.

Maybe my math is wrong but I count two division championships in four years with Cam.

Russell is the best hes ever going to be.

Russell is a good quarterback that operates as hes told within his teams philosophy and system.

But Cam is a better winner than Luck.

Russell has peaked, huh? After what, 3 seasons? Really?

Can you name me a QB in the NFL whom you know to operate outside his team's philosophy and system?

Last time I checked, the Colts have won 11 regular season games in each of the last 3 seasons and have won 3 of 4 playoff games in those same 3 seasons since drafting Luck.

lolwut?

The funny thing about all this is that coming into this season, EVERYONE knew that the offense had no talent...and the only one with potential was KB...

Go back and read the articles at the beginning of the season where EVERYONE was feeling sorry for Newton, and asking what the heck is GM doing...

Now all of a sudden, we have Huddlers claiming that Newton has had help.

Whoever is saying Cam has help should go jump off a cliff. You definitely won't find anybody in the national media saying that. Deion just ripped the talent around cam last night. The biggest help that is missing is an offensive coordinator. Notice nobody requesting to interview Mike Shula
