Draft Picks should be #25, #57, #80?

I'm amazed that some in this thread don't see the value of what just happened this season.

Our young guys, who Gettleman pieced together from the 28th spot last year, won a playoff game and played in the toughest building in the nfl to the defending champs. If you can't see the tremendous value of that, please go find a bucs board to post on.

Winning breeds winning. You don't get there by constantly picking at the top of the draft. Ask Oakland, and St Loiis, and Jacksonville, and Cleveland, and Tennessee, and Tampa how that's working out for them.

You don't build a championship roster overnight. It takes time. You guys need to put some trust in Gettleman. He's got us following a blue print for sustained success. Look no further than our opponent tonight for an example of that. A 7-9 young Seattle team got in the playoffs, won a playoff game, and then got beat by a superior bears team. All that did was give that team and some of those players the taste for success and I'd say they have handled that pretty well.

We just fuged up all the way around. Should have let the Falcons take the fall

also all of you who think we should have tanked can shove it

we needed this bad.  as an organization, fanbase, whatever.  we got a major monkey off our backs.

And, those who are crying about our draft position should ask themselves who would they rather the Panthers emulate, the damned Raiders, or the Patriots.  Well run organizations pick later in the draft.  For anyone who wants something different, then go root for the historical bottom feeders, then perhaps you'll get your wish.  Otherwise, get used to the later picks. That's more of an indicator that we are where we need to be.

I just looked at the Seahawks 2011 draft. It was the year after they went 7-9 and won a playoff game. They ended up with the 25th pick as well. They did pretty good, hopefully we will too.

in an attempt to create mismatches they picked players with certain physical traits that one would consider unique and continue to incorporate that same drafting ideology to this day.so,basically it's a BPA of Kelvin Benjamin like players.however, after the 2011 NFL draft Carroll was lambasted by the media and the Seahawk fan base for not drafting a QB.but..but.. the following year Russell Wilson in the third...BPA and unique to say the very least by todays NFL standards.
