Okay, I realize Cooper will not be there at 25, but just imagine adding Cooper, and Justin Hardy to KB. That's a good young WR group. I focused this draft on addressing the offense.

The only way Cooper slips to 25th is if he sacrifices a goat during interviews at the combine, and even then the Raiders would take him ahead of us.

At this point, with two of the top OT's gone, we might turn to a Bud Dupree, or whichever WR falls into our range.

OT's were waaay over picked last year and with the pool getting smaller, it will be a feeding frenzy in the top half of the 1st round.  Unless we get a decent FA, we will have to develop one.

Last year, getting an OT wasn't a main priority, not in free agency or the draft, which was purely amazing.  That left us with guys like Byron Bell and Nate Chandler starting for us the majority of the year.  Even if we don't get a top flight OT to fall in the draft, by making OT a priority this off-season, we should be able to get a quality OT in free agency.  So I'm not worried about the lack of OT talent in this year's draft.  Go BPA with the first pick, and I wouldn't mind if we drafted Sammie Coates.  Guy is a real deep threat.  Something we haven't really had since Smitty's glory days.  Coates should be at 25, and he can be developed into a great receiver.  In the second round I might get Rashad Greene, to be our slot guy and return man.

From what I read, we were interested in OT's last draft, but 5 of them went before pick 20 and that left us with guys who had a 3rd round grade to choose from.

Picking the WR, who did have a 1st round grade and wonderful size was the better value.  Can you imagine not having Benjamin this season but an OT who could not beat out Bell for a starting job?  Think we might have been looking at 3 wins rather than 7

Take the value
