The difference in the game

lightsout

Did you see those lobs Wilson was able to just throw up, and no one was around to even challenge the pass.

We tried to manufacture pressure way too much, and Wilson made us pay. That's one thing I will give Wilson credit for in comparison to Cam, but then again Cam need the weapons.

With an offseason of work under his belt, Kony Ealy might look pretty good.

Yeah, but I don't know how good he can be long term. He just doesn't strike me as that guy who can light it up. Then again, it takes DE's a few years to catch their stride. Time will tell. In the mean time, we have to at least be able to cover better. Keep track of receivers that break off their route to help their QB. We do good if it's over the middle. It's the stuff from the numbers to the sideline that kills us, usually.

You are literally a moron. You fail to understand football and are a complete fool. I am not saying this as a panther fan who is supporting his quarterback. I'm saying this as a person who axtually understsnds the game unlike yourself.

Yeah, we get it.

Wilson's OC sets him up to look good, and doesn't ask him to do much.

Newton on the other hands, carries the load, and his OC doesn't know how to lessen it/fool the defense.

Newton's always got to make spectacular throws, or work away from the defense to get it off.  So of course he's going to make more mistakes this way. However, Wilson's never asked to do what Newton does.

Plus, the Panther "D" was ass today, and just got out schemed by Seattle.

Panthers have better weapons than Seattle...I don't know who'd rather have Luke Wilson, Kearse, and whoever the hell else they have at WR....our passing weapons are actually better the difference is the QB...

No.

the difference is the OC.

Wilson's not a QB, he's a game manager, who's rarely asked to make the tough throws and read coverages.

Luke Wilson is good, but Olsen is better.

Kearse is better at WR than everybody we have but KB.

Richardson has the speed and hands.

At BEST, you can say we have comparable weapons....but we all know that isn't true just by watching that game.

i'm not putting it all on him, but tolbert had two 3rd down plays that would have moved the chains but he got caught sleeping. the first was the hit from chancellor on 3rd and long draw play. just got blown up, didn't even lower his shoulder. the second obviously was the drop he had on 3rd and 11 that hit him in stride right in the hands. both pretty big plays
