Seahawks apparently dumping T J Duckett

done deal...Edge is in and Duckett is out.

Not sure what I think of this deal though...I do think Edge is a better back that Duckett, but we also have Julious Jones and Justin Forsett has shown a lot of promise in camp and preseason. I thought we were going to use Jones and Forsett and then use Duckett for short yardage stuff...so we'll see what happens now. Never been a big fan of running by committee though and I think most backs will say the more touches they get, they better they are.

Justin Forsett...we drafted him in 2008...spent most of last year on the practice squad...can't remember if he played actually. Small, but very fast and he has looked pretty good in preseason. I know the fans really like him...he doesn't waste a lot of time in the backfield...get's the ball and starts digging for every yard he can get. Not sure if he'll make the squad or not though with Edge and Jones there. We have also used him as a return guy too, but I think that edge will go to Nate Burleson again, or preferrably to new comer, Deon Butler

you are asking the wrong person as I am always as full of positivity as possible!

I honestly think we have a very talented team that was hammered by injuries at key positions last year that resulted in a terrible season. I have a ton of faith that Matty Hass is the man, I think we have a very strong WR core, some of the best LB's in the league and our special teams are becoming special again. We've been riddled with injuries on the O-Line the last couple of years that have had many players playing positions that they aren't used to and I still think we are very susceptible to the long pass! I think we will do a very strong job on run stopping this year though...which is good, but doesn't go well with the previous comment about the long ball!!!
