If people think Cam lacks talent around him have they seen what Wilson is working with? 2 undrafted free agents are his top targets, along with a 5th round tight end and a 2nd round rookie. Stewart had more yards on the ground than Lynch tonight even with Lynch's 25 yard run. When will the fault ever be on Cam?

 

 

The fact that Wilson has the NFL's #1 ranked defense shutting the other team down ,while making them press,thereby giving him good field position,makes Wilson look like a better QB than he really is.

I ultimately blame Cam for that pick 6. It was a late throw and Chancellor read Cam's intention and broke on the pass. Cam has to see defenders baiting him and make another decision, either another read or simply look off of his intended receiver.

that was a second read, his primary read was on the ground. He tried to force it lat in the middle. Something your not supposed to do, but we were in a fug it we need to do something now mode and it is what it is.

I'm trying to figure out if you people are retarded (i mean seriously) or are just that biased. I am leaning towards the former. Dickinson was the 3rd fuging read on that play. If you are the 3rd option, you should be constantly working your way back to your quarterback. This fuging dick had his heels firmly planted behind the first down marker, waiting/reaching out for the ball. Cams fault was assuming his teammates would be as aggressive as the defense.

Cam would go somewhere like Buffalo and same result. He just not franchise QB material despite his talent

could have been a 5 int night.  Once he locked in, the other guys that came open were not considered.

 

Receivers were also not flawless either dropping several passes.

 

Our DLine was the surprise with their run D.  Losing Star could have hurt a lot worse.  What they did not do was pressure Wilson nearly enough.

 

The young DB's got caught making rookie mistakes like biting on fakes and such.

 

OLine like the Dline did okay with rushing, but lacked a bit with pass protection.

 

Long term thoughts

 

I think Cam is similar to M Vick in that he is the most exciting QB in the league, every third week.  His consistancy is not there yet.  Some weeks he has great mechanics and vision, other D schemes soom to stop him in his tracks.  It is the tale ot two QB's.  4 years in, and not a ton of progress.  I am aslo afraid that if his running is continually his out, injuries will continue to mount.  Just not jazzed about the QB position at this point and hope(AGAIN) he makes big leaps in the offseason.

 

Let DWill move on.  Fozzy and Stew and a late rounder will be fine.

 

OT  Need an OT in FA at least for a couple seasons while drafting a guy or two to groom.

 

Need a speedy and possession receiver in the draft or FA.

 

If Hardy gets cleared in Feb, bring him back in March at lower deal.  he is a hard athlete to find.

 

Our DB's will get better with age.  Lots of rookies back there.
