It's been showing for 4 years now. Eventually you'd think they would do something about it

 

Don Gettleman's only been here for 2 and he's gotten rid most of Hurney's contracts and found talent through the Draft, It's slowly dissipating. Also there aren't as many glaring needs as there were the previous seasons.

Greatest statistical rookie season in NFL history and it's been a slow descent ever since thanks to poor coaching and lack of addressing offense in the draft and elsewhere.

This is a wake up call and why playing the best team in the toughest place to play could be helpful in the long run.

Things he could get away with in the NFC South obviously aren't going to fly against Seattle.

I chalk it up to another step in the evolution of Cam and this team. Now, what will they do to improve for next season?

Don't you think the confidence in the coaching has something do with it has well?

 

In other words, do really good coaches receivers (who are expected to make plays), drop those passes, like Tolbert did?

 

As far as scheme: You can tell, if the Panthers had a receiver, who could mix up playing calling, and move cam around, he could put up some big stats, as he did his first two years, throwing mainly from the pocket.

 

Unfortunately, Shula does him no favors, by forcing him into obvious third downs, and TOP doesn't allow him to make mistakes while pressing, and come back from them.

If people think Cam lacks talent around him have they seen what Wilson is working with? 2 undrafted free agents are his top targets, along with a 5th round tight end and a 2nd round rookie. Stewart had more yards on the ground than Lynch tonight even with Lynch's 25 yard run. When will the fault ever be on Cam?
