Points from Steve Logan on today's game

1.  Seahawks high and tight Safety play, Cam must look off that Safety with his yes vs. staring down receivers...said this high safety is nothing new, its done in high school and is very  basic and if Newton does not look that safety off, interception waiting to happen.

2.  Shula must have at least 2-3 explosive plays resulting in TDs from the team's top  playmakers (Newton and Benjamin) to have any chance at winning....he cannot stay the course all 4 qtrs., keep it close and then.....said Benjamin, 6' and gazillion inches needs to be told 'we are throwing the ball at your head and you need to catch it'.

3.  Benjamin and Newton will be the key...Benjamin must catch those passes...no silly drops...after 17 games he is no longer and rookie and needs to step it up...same with Cam, they need to execute and understand 'its one and done'.

4.  Highly complimentary of Cam and said his issue with footwork will show itself with a dropped left shoulder which in turn causes the ball to sail....said his lack of trust in the offensive line is causing these issues and that this 'muscle memory' must be trained out of him with repeated repetitions.

It was a very well done interview on 99.9 in Raleigh.  Logan, smart man, moreso than anyone I've heard, he gets it with Newton and that offense.

Point #1 is absolutely key. I had noticed this as well but watching Cam, he rarely makes this mistake. Has a bit but every QB in the league has too. Sometimes you just don't see the safety there for whatever reason. Especially when you're under pressure and are trying to make a play... Romo did it a fair amount before this year's o-line.

Kurt Warner had a nice piece on NFL Network in talking about Cam in how he rarely resets his feet.  IF he starts out to the left and then comes back to the right for a throw his feet don't move with him and causes him to miss high and wide.  Watch it today, because Cam's accuracy will be key.

Steve Logan was an offensive guru when he was at ECU….I would love to see him as O-coordinator vs Shula….it would be an exciting offense with him calling the plays….a girl can dream.

Steve Logan is a moron. I've listened to him numerous times this year. He doesn't even know who we have playing on the O-line and was talking about how we should basically abandon the run game today

state or unc fan there

He never suggested any such thing as abandoning the run.

I can say watching Cam this season, I am not afraid of that. He has done a good job of moving safeties with his eyes.

Yep, he gets it and I think he would get Cam straight too...Cam needs someone who will tell it to him straight and I'm no sure he really gets that.

I hope Cam has the game of his life today.  He is a superb athlete and right now, an average NFL QB by stats and by the talent around him.

As Logan says, 'Cam's a special talent and we might not see his like again'.

It is shame that I don't think this offense will allow to develop.  Hard to do a zone read at 30.  At current rate he will have taken 1100 hits by then.  God Almighty.
