Seahawks to make Russell Wilson highest-paid QB

You are pointing to ONE regular season game. Worst argument I have ever heard.

Wow, he didn't play well in one game, that means he sucks.

Look at Cam, you can see a few games where he let your team down, doesn't mean he is a bad QB.

That Dallas game cost us nothing in the long run, the fact of the matter is, without Russell Wilson, the Seahawks are ringless. Thats a fact, Pay the man

Are you a Seahawks fan or a RW fan? I'm actually saying you're a good enough team to be able to win with an efficient game manager. I think you're being extremely disrespectful to Marshawn Lynch. Without him taking up most of the defensive focus RW wouldn't be free to make some of those plays.

Marshawn Lynch had 17 total tds for you guys that's insane. Russell Wilson accounted for 26. They shared 4 of those together.

You haven't watched enough Seahawk games to say that. Russell runs for his life every play, we constantly miss assignments. We only have one starter that has lasted all season.

I watchh Seattle enough to know they haven't been as bad as Carolina or Atl this season.

Seattle has been able to run block sufficiently all season. That alone makes them better. I also don't think they have been worse in pass protection on the year than Atl and Car.

You can't successfully do what Carroll does with a league worst OL.

What did we do with Marshawn Lynch and a good defense before Russell Wilson? Nothing.

Disrespectful to Marshawn Lynch? No way, I think he is a HUGE part of the offense. I'm just sick of people saying that Russell Wilson is a game manager and thats all he is. Same as you would be if someone said it about Cam, my only point is we wouldn't be where we were without Russell. I have waited my entire life and seen some shitty Seahawk teams, we finally have a quarterback that can win, we have a great defense, awesome running game and now we have a ring to show for it. My whole point is you can't have one without the other.

You do realize we have plenty of cap space still right??

Name one impact player that we will lose that we haven't locked up already... I'll wait..

I'm sure you know more about your cap situation than we do. But Russel Okung, Bruce Irvin, and Bobby Wagner will be looking for pay raises in 2016. You have 19m in space now but Wilson would eat all of that up. Christine Michael is a guy that could replace Marshawn but there will be a drop in production or an increase in pay. His deal is up in 2017. This roster works because the RB and QB demand so much attention. But the WRs might be the weakest group on the team. Doug Baldwin is the only guy making any money.

We are also clearing up more dead space next year with the Percy deal. Okung is a goner anyway, the guy can't stay on the field. So i'm not worried about that. Wagner will be resigned and we will have room for him as well, Lynch unfortunately doesn't have many more years left, so if we wanted to resign Bruce we can, but a specialty pass rusher really isn't do or die

I think Sherman eventually became not a rookie and the best CB in the game. Thomas became the best S.

I think if you take this D and pair it with the 2011 O.....it is a winning team instead of a 1 game under .500 team

Sure, maybe a winning team. But Seahawk fans would still be looking for a ring. As a fan who has watched his entire life without his team winning a superbowl... Why remove one of your most important pieces because you are pinching pennies?

SMH, you don't need to be a good NFL QB nowadays to get paid big money, you just have to be A NFL QB. Mark my words, the QB bubble will pop just like the RB bubble popped. When teams realize all you need is a damn good O line and system you can get just about anybody to play the position, QBs will stop getting paid as much. where does it end?!

I don't think Wilson nor Cam are worth north of 100 plus million. 100 million should only be for guys like Manning or Flacco (yes Flacco) because he won a SB.

20 years is too damn long...this needs to be our year!  Besides, you already have one Lombardi, and since we're cousins....

    • Start with Bryce, this is like his rookie year. The 1st 2 games proved her was wired wrong and it looks like (we hope) he needed a time out to reset and be the player that was drafted. He's still about a year or more away from being a top 15 QB, if the Panther give him another playmaker or 2 (a top WR and a decent TE) and maintain that line. Canales deserves credit as playing that card correctly to motivate (or refocus) his QB for one last shot to decide his and the Panthers immediate future. As a Panther fans we should hope he keeps improving as we invested so much to get him. CJ Stroud will never have a season like he had, even if he stays a top 10 QB. He's got great character so I'm rooting for Bryce to continue on his positive journey. Canales is playing the week to week thing with bryce perfectly. Nothings guaranteed, earn it weekly which builds consistency and consistency is greatness.  Keep the O-line. They've got to extend Brady C, along with Mayes that have a real good 7. Great job Morgan starting with the big guys upfront.  I really hope they draft a DE or OLB in the 1st round. Getting Brown back with A Robinson and what DJ has shown that we can have a decent D-line. Need a CB in the early rounds/ or a time FA to go with Horn.  The future as to next year being good enough to challenge for the division is within reach. Just show progress (win or lose) every week. Kudos to Dan Morgan. Plays GM like a LB. Tackle the problem and move on, don't just hope it works out. Find guys with your playing mentality and work closely with your HC to share a vision. Teamwork starts at the top and flows down.
