I never talked about Wilson's wins... Wins alone are a bad stand... but I can easily name at least 2-3 games a season where our defense let the Seahawks down, and Wilson won it. It's a complementary pairing, and it's worth it to pay it. I never once downplayed our defense, if we didn't lock up our defensive core, I would be worried about this. But we already have it locked down, so i'm not.

I can name games some of Peyton Manning's weaker Indy casts stepped up. Always a couple games that go against the grain.

In Wilson's career to date.....the Hawks have been about D and running the ball. Why Kapernick had success early too....then you downgrade those areas some and he gets exposed more.

I'm not comparing Wilson to Kapernick. But you can't give the QBs the glory on teams built a certain way and play a certain way. Even though they get it

Pay him....I don't care. Highest paid QB IMO doesn't need that type system Wilson plays in and that cast for me. And to me, he has never hinted he is that

Wilson is line to take up 20m extra in cap space. You are going to lose more than Lynch to make that happen.

It's a complementary relationship. Can't have one without the other. 

 

Before Wilson, we just had a good defense, and nothing else other than Lynch, and that didn't work out for us.

Wow, he didn't play well in one game, that means he sucks. 

 

Look at Cam, you can see a few games where he let your team down, doesn't mean he is a bad QB. 

 

That Dallas game cost us nothing in the long run, the fact of the matter is, without Russell Wilson, the Seahawks are ringless. Thats a fact, Pay the man

You haven't watched enough Seahawk games to say that. Russell runs for his life every play, we constantly miss assignments. We only have one starter that has lasted all season.
