If I'm grilling wings, when is the best time to toss the wings in the sauce? Before, during, after?

There's a thread in the lounge but post your best wing sauce recipe

I actually cook mine in the oven. Get 5 pounds of raw wings. A bottle of Frank's Red Hot. Put the sauce in a pan and melt with a stick of butter. Add cayenne and crushed red pepper. Place the wings on a nonstick tray with nothing on them yet. Preheat oven to 375. Let them cook on each side for 35 minutes. After cooking for a little over an hour take them out and wipe the tray so it's dry and no water, juice etc is on it. This is important so that the wings get crispy. Dip the wings in the sauce and put them back on the tray. Cook on 425 for 30-45 minutes. Take out wings and cover them with the rest of the sauce. Add blue cheese. You're welcome.

I love grilling wings. I usually do before and then a quick brush while they're on the grill.

    • Film Room Playlist _ NFL Pro — Mozilla Firefox 2024-11-25 10-20-11.mp4 🎯🎯🎯 There were a couple of "fans" yesterday saying that this wasn't a helmet-to-helmet shot... 👀 Looks like based on where Moore was and where the play ended, he'd have gotten maybe just a yard or two more. Chuba was downed at the KC 16 and Moore was on his way back to the QB, so the offense got what they could for the most part. After reviewing the all-22, Bryce made the right call here. Tremble was the hot and KC sent both LBs. He gets it out with a clear pocket but it's quickly collapsing. If there was a little more time it looked like AT came free at the end but whether or not Bryce would've been upright still is another story. Smart move to get the completion and keep the field goal in play to stay alive. George Karlaftis is about to get himself a big ole hug and Bryce heaves it to where David Moore is going. Trent McDuffie slipped just a step or two before this shot, but we can see the clear DPI here as he's wrapped around David Moore before knocking him over as the ball gets there.
    • I’m taking a TE early day 3 Ian Thomas and Tremble are FA.  We should have no desire to bring them back.   There’s more than enough film of ball bouncing off their hands or facemask.
    • Daniel Jones sometimes would sling it for 300 or 400 yards.  That's my stance.  We know what Bryce is.  If you consistently play any QB at this level, they largely are going to end up w/ some good days/games.  last time Mahomes was at BOA, Teddy Bridgwater threw for 300+ yards and a couple TDs and the Matt Rhule Panthers almost took him down.  We know what Bryce is.  Now we got people predictably falling into a predictable trap.
