Charlotte changes intersection where Cam Newton crashed

 

 

Via Dianne Gallagher of WCNC, Charlotte Department of Transportation officialshave installed a larger stop sign with reflective stripe, revamped the stop and crossing lines in the intersection and added a warning sign for drivers on Church Street of the upcoming intersection. They’re considering adding flashing lights in the future.

All it took was Panthers quarterback Cam Newton getting mowed down on his way into work at Bank of America Stadium, resulting in two broken bones in his back.

 

 

So not only can Newton lead a team to the divisional round of the playoffs, he can also expedite the work of city governments, making it safer for his entire city.

What is sad though is that it took such a bad accident to a star player for this to get fixed. But I'm glad it is.
