Why Country Now Completely Sucks

I think of country now as pop music's minor league for marketable, yet bland, blonde female singers.

Taylor Swift being the latest to be called up to the majors.

Yeah this really isn't news... I haven't listened to country since the early 90s for a reason.  

 

If I happen to catch any now it's unbearable.

 

It's not the only genre that has gone downhill however.

Country has always sucked.

 

I used to feel that way too, then music changed and I went looking for something good.

Anyone that needed to hear this mashup to know that most country songs are exactly the same may hear music, but doesn't actually listen.

meh... they played with the speed of some of the songs, but whatever...

You can make mashups of a lot of genres and they fit well together...

As for country and this example, I blame it on the new "industry standard" where everyone is trying to do whatever everyone else is doing. Some of the songs are all written by the same people and/or members of other groups... It happens in every genre, though... For example, Iggy Azalea has had like 4 pop hits that are basically 3 note melodies and a beat.

 

It happens with all music... emulation and ultimately you can find similarities in everything.. especially if you can match the tempos up...

For instance...

 

 

Also, Florida Georgia Line is basically becoming the Nickleback of country music...
