These are the type of things that should be looked over. You can never use the past as precedent to the future, especially in sports. Cool to know though.

 

The team and players should overlook it but not fans. The fact that for 10 straight years the best team in the NFL hasn't been able to even win a playoff game suggests there could be some physical and mental reasons for it.

 

Maybe teams with that rings lack the motivation or maybe playing so many games in a two year span is physically draining.
