No defending Superbowl Champs have won a playoff game since 2005

It's part of the magic # 8.

- 8 years since a Super Bowl champ won a playoff game

- Panthers have 8 new starters compared to the first time they played the Seahawks this year.

- Panthers are 8-8-1

- It was week 8 when these two teams last played

etc..

There were a couple of other references to the # 8 but I can't remember them.

Obviously means the Panthers will win 8-6 with a safety in OT being the difference.

A Seahawks win gives them 8 home victories on the year.

Matt Hasselbeck wore #8

SO MANY 8'S

Marshawn Lynch

Max Unger

How many is that? Not... no... it can't be...

8

Number of games we'll have won straight, after winning the Superbowl?

Can... It..... Be......?

8....

Trick Question! Number of pro-bowlers playing in this game = 6. Olsen & Kuechly will be preparing for a different Bowl :D

This is oh so g8. Damn you number 8!

Is it a coincidence that you posted in this thread and your user name ends in "88"?

I think not.

Which brings up another one....

Panthers top receiver.....

#88 - Olsen

Fear the number "8" - for it will be prevalent tomorrow night.
