RR not ruling out calling up Hill

- Activate Hill.

- Rely on Jerricho Cotchery to be our deep threat to stretch the field.

- Have no one to stretch the field and let the CBs smother our slow WRs.

You're not very cordial sir. You can make your point without calling people idiots. The debate is whether or not we have the speed to stretch the field without Brown. The answer is no, unless we use either Hill or Presley. Both run a sub 4.4 and Pressley is of similar stature as Brown which makes him a viable option in the backfield. So yes, we will debate why Presley could be useful but the point is moot because he is on IR. I personally want Hill because of his size and speed. If Proehl has been practicing those back shoulder fades then he could be invaluable.

 

If Hill's ability catches up to his athleticism we could have a fairly solid receiving corps with Dickson, Olsen, Brown, Hill, and Benji.

If Philly can't play, I'm all for activating Hill. We can't have all slow possession receivers on the field.

But if Philly is active, there is no need to activate Hill.

Hey, you know what? This is the playoffs. Pull out all the stops. Don't continue on the same path because at no point has our offense been dominant this season. If he can help us on just a few plays by keeping the safety over the top, I'm all for it. We cannot run the ball if the safeties creep into the box all day.

 

My only concern is if Cam will have the timing down with him. You nail him in stride for 40 yards one time and it changes the game. If I were going to promote him, I'd have him working all week with the offense and call him up Friday night.

Didn't they also finish the regular season 8-8 that year? Yet here we are a half game or one first down during the Falcons game from that and we are chastised as the worst playoff team in history. I was one of those people. He was no saving grace, but I thought Carolina was one of the first places Ginn really got a chance to play the receiver spot consistently. And teams had to prepare for him, regardless of his stats or catches. Also, the way the receiving core had been the past couple years, anyone that had some kind of chemistry and posed a threat is better than nothing

I used to ingest THC in high school thus I get my years and records mixed up. However! I expect nothing short of a run at the Super Bowl this year. I'm under the impression that if we move on this weekend we stand our best chance at winning it all. 2003 was a difficult year considering everyone we played and then to play the streaking Patriots in the finale. Oddly enough we are getting about as much credit nationally as we were throughout our playoff run that year. Mind you I was 11 at the time so I may not remember everything correctly.

I'm not saying he is the answer. I was just asking if he has had any experience, because we currently don't seem to have an answer. Bersin was awful fielding punts and at least Hill is explosive and dangerous... I don't post much on here but I've been on these forums almost every day since 2008. Ive always like you hatter... No need to be an ass lol. Just asking if he's done it. Cause Bersin is clearly no better when he has to drop to his knees jest to catch the ball.
